    Resumo

    As alternatives for the treatment of effluents, the Advanced Oxidation Processes stand out, which can be used when conventional treatments do not demonstrate effectiveness in the degradation of the contaminants present. Among these, ozonation has been widely studied for the removal of emerging contaminants in water and effluents. Thus, the main objective of this study was to study the removal of statins from the hospital effluent matrix via ozonation.
