    Resumo

Objective: This work shows the evolution of the basic concepts of a modern society plugged into digital information through the manufacture of low-cost sensor devices using alternative and ecologically biodegradable materials. Methods: Through a methodology that starts from ideas about things, hypotheses are raised about the functionality of a possible product, in this case, a sensor device carried out through previously well-studied and tested processing steps. Results: The methodological description was obtained and the main concepts for the development of sensor devices with alternative and biodegradable materials were structured, as well as the possibility of developing different types of graphite sensor devices on paper that can be applied in different areas of knowledge in addition to obtaining a functional cantilever tested on a micro-controlled platform. Conclusion: The concepts illustrated and discussed in this work show the complexity of developing and arriving at an innovative product with intelligent technology even using materials with low environmental impact and low cost such as paper and pencil lead.
