    Resumo

Objective: To comprehensively evaluate the geotechnical conditions of Cerro Kolque-parque in Ayaviri, Puno, it seeks to identify the factors that generate instability and deve-lop viable solutions to mitigate risks associated with landslides that compromise both the safety of infrastructures and that of nearby communities. Methods: A comprehensive methodological approach based on a non-experimental description was used, with the application of several techniques that included geotechnical mapping, the execution of experimental tests such as the Tilt Test (to determine basic friction angles), point load (for mechanical classifications) and uniaxial compression (to evaluate the strength of the mas-sif). In addition, computational tools such as Dips, Swedge and RocData were implemen-ted, which allowed modeling structural conditions and simulating critical scenarios. Re-sults: Areas with a probability of failure greater than 70% stand out, mainly in sectors that present steep slopes combined with significant structural discontinuities. Experimental tests indicated that the basic friction angle values range from 36° to 38°, while the safety factor obtained through Swedge showed critical values (FS < 1) in more than 70% of the Sets analyzed. Conclusion: To guarantee the stability and safety of the area, it is essential to implement structural measures such as support and drainage sys-tems, as well as continuous monitoring programs that ensure the sustainability of the mas-sif in the medium and long term
